Below are some common types of reward programs:
Petrol Rewards Program
This rewards program would be great, especially if you use your car regularly. The points that you earn depend on the terms of the program but they could generally be redeemed for free gas.
Airline Miles or Frequent Flyer Miles Rewards Program
With this rewards program, you basically earn a certain amount of points for each dollar you spend that you can later on redeem for airline miles. This would be perfect if you want to be rewarded with a vacation or a holiday wherein you would not have to spend on your travel airfare.
Cash Rebates or Cashback Rewards Program
This type of credit card rewards program offers you more options or more flexibility on where you can spend your rewards. You would receive rebates for your spending, which gives more value to each purchase that you make. Instead of having to choose from a range of items or gifts which you can cash in your rewards points for, you would just receive a certain percent of the money you spend.
Free Car Rentals Rewards Program
This is a good option if you usually do a lot of traveling. This rewards program could save you a lot of money as you go on business trips where you are unable to bring your own car.
Hotel and Dining Rewards Program
If you usually treat yourself to eating at restaurants or checking in hotels, then getting a credit card with this type of rewards program could definitely give you exactly what you want. Once you have accumulated a certain number of points, you would be able to redeem it for a stay at one of the listed hotels or a free dinner at their partner restaurants.
Points Rewards Program
This would be the most common type of rewards program that is offered by many credit cards today. Again, you get a certain number of points every time you spend, which could later be redeemed for a variety of different items listed in a rewards ‘catalogue’.
Finding the right rewards program will make using your credit card a pleasure.
